Loyalist Participation in Events

Loyalist heritage is not only celebrated in the cold month of February. Both the Vancouver and Heritage Branches take advantage of local St. Patrick‘s Day parades to draw attention to their involvement in the community. Robert C. Wilkins, President of the Heritage Branch, had hoped that a “one-week postponement will permit the event to be held in temperatures a little more clement than some of the sub-Arctic ones in which we have had to parade in years past. “ Inclement weather does not bother Adrian Willison who drives the float as much as it does the hardy Loyalists on board.
