Bay of Quinte Branch: Casey House Project

Martha and William Casey were Loyalist settlers in north Adolphustown. Their 1784-1786 squared-timber house was dismantled in 2000 to make way for private development. U.E.L. Heritage Centre & Park/UELAC Bay of Quinte Branch has purchased the salvage from the Lennox and Addington Historical Society and have started a project to rebuild the Casey House on its heritage property in Adolphustown. An archeological assessment has been completed and existing fundraising efforts will allow us to begin excavation and foundation construction in the spring of 2007. If you are interested in learning more or donating to the Casey House Project please contact the Executive Director at 1784@uel.ca.
