“At The End of The Trail” Calendar

London & Western Ontario Branch

This 18 month calendar has been produced by London and Southwestern Ontario Branch U.E.L.A.C. in co-operation with Bicentennial Branch U.E.L.A.C. to celebrate a rich history of the area which was highlighted during “CONFERENCE 2007”, that area of south western Ontario extending from Windsor and Detroit.

For many years, this history has been largely unknown to most Loyalists and was regarded literally as the end of the Loyalist Trail. To others, this area was a beginning – a “new settlement” which has contributed greatly to the development of our country.

We hope that the pictures and descriptions on this Calendar will help Loyalists better understand and appreciate this part of our history.

The calendar features…

  • 18 months from July 2007 to December 2008
  • 18 pen and and ink drawings or maps with descriptive text of each
  • important events in Loyalist/Revolutionary War and War of 1812 history indicated on the date they occurred
  • maps which also provide historical context in accompanying text
  • large 17″ x 11″ format

Original sketches of many of the historic sites featured during the Conference Tours are shown on the calendar as well as historic maps of the area.

We have added a selection of important dates in Loyalist/Revolutionary War history to the calendar pages as well as many significant dates from the war of 1812-14 era.
