Family History : Members of the WANAMAKER family (John, Henry, Peter and Richard Wanamaker's widow, Elizabeth) sailed in the Fall Fleet (Oct 1783) to NB aboard the ship Esther. Also onboard where Loyalists Benjamin and John APPLEBY who served with Henry WANAMAKER in VAN ALLEN's Coy, NJ Volunteers. Henry's wife was the widow of Loyalist Peter APPLEBY.
