During the Revolutionary War, Jesse Wright's wife Sibyl married (?) a Mr Powell and bore him a daughter, Clara (Clarecy), b c 1782, m Jeremiah Tuttle.
After the War, Jesse treated Clara as his own child, and she received a grant of land as his daughter by Order in Council 13 Mar 1807
