Biography : Son of Abraham Varnum & Rebecca Shed.
Moved from Dracutt to Sutton in 1770, then to Peacham, Vermont, 1790, where he joined his brother, William. Returned to Sutton, 1800.
VOD says he died in infancy, however he was a UEL who was disowned by his family and expunged from its records.
Several of his Varnum relations had illustrious careers fighting for the American side.
