For more details about each child, read this list of children
NOTE: Edward Phillips was previously noted here as a child of Jacob Phillips UE. This is not the case.
Edward Phillips (1787-1840) and his brother Henry Phillips are NOT sons of Jacob Phillips UE. They certainly never applied for land as sons of Jacob Philips, while every other child alive in 1836 when Jacob was finally added to the UE list did.
Both Edward and Henry Phillips were living in York Township, and married daughters of Jacob Clocks.
Marriages at St. James Anglican Church in Town of York, Upper Canada.
• Monday, 13 March, 1809, Banns, Edward PHILIPS and Mary CLOCK. Witnesses: John BRUMAN and John CLOCK.
• 11 February, 1817, by special license, Henry PHILIP and Ann CLOCK, both of this parish. Witnesses, Stephen WHITNEY and Mary CLOCK.

(NOTE: A Line of descent from Jacob Phillips to Edward Phillips to Melinda (Phillips), previously posted here, was obviously incorrect since Edward was NOT the son of Loyalist Jacob Phillips.)
