Sources : Lorenzo Sabine in Biograpical Sketches of Loyalists of The American Revolution, 1864 vol. 2, p. 565, writes:
"Perry, Seth of Sandwich who was imprisoned in that town and who with Samuel, Stephen, Thomas and Silas, fled to the British troops in Rhode Island. Of these Samuel, Thomas and Silas, each with a family, went from New York to Shelburne, Nova Scotia in 1783 and received grants of land."
