Biography : Peter's memorial says that he “took up arms to Defend themselves and Set up the Kings Colours against the rebels at Squaharra? Being at Length over Powered was oblige to fly Different Ways for Refuge and Memorialist having harboured Captain Brant [or Grant?] at the time he took Captain Harper and Several others was near being murdered by said Harper on his Return from being --- Prisoner and all his Property...”
