Place of Burial : St. Mark's Anglican Church cemetery records show his grave in Row 14 with the following headstone: CLEMENT/John Clement Esq./Died/Feb. 11, 1845/Aged 87 years.
Wife Name : 1st Marriage: Margaret Crysler dau of Adam Crysler; 2nd Marriage: Mary Ball, dau of Capt. Jacob Ball Sr.
Children : Lewis (24 Sep 1787), Margaret (b. 11 Oct 1789), Catherine (18 May 1791), Margaret Sophia (b. 16 Apr 1793), Jemima (7 Aug 1794), Mary Elizabeth (10 Oct 1796), James (bp 20 Aug 1798), Margaret Sophia (b.3 Apr 1800) Ann Butler (21 Oct 1801), Caroline (8 Jan 1804), Peter Ball (7 Feb 1806), Joseph Ball (5 Mar 1808) and George Augustus (30 Apr 1813). The first two Margarets appear to have died young. In his Land Petition dated 1795, John states that he has only 3 children indicating that Margaret and Margaret Sophia are both deceased.
